CAIRO--Belgian shoe giant Brantano says it will hit Middle East markets in a big way with new franchise plans that include opening 10 shops in Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, Oman, Qatar and Kuwait within five years, according to Reuters. The shoe retailer is reported to be teaming up with entrepreneur Hassan Mohammed Jawad, who already has a license agreement to sell Brantano shoes in two shops in Bahrain and the UAE.
