The loyalty program, called "Starmedia Points" is the result of a partnership between Starmedia and MyPoints.com, a top direct marketing services company, specialized in customer loyalty issues on the Web.
Pyr Marcondes, general director of Starmedia in Brazil, believes the card will efficiently promote "loyalty of online customers. Consumers will also be able to get points by answering questions in different studies. Points will be traded for prizes in the future. "It's the first virtual card 100% secure," affirms Marcio Schettini, president of the Unibanco card.
