Brazil's Talent acquires Internet shop

SAO PAULO--The list of advertising agencies grabbing Internet shops continues in Brazil with the acquisition of a 51% stake in Triade-comm. by Talent, Sao Paulo. Talent is Brazil's 15th biggest agency. "We wanted to add [Internet] expertise to Talent, " says JulioRibeiro, president of Talent Group. Triade's clients include Yakult, Phillip Morris Cos., Zip.net and Semp Toshiba. Triade-comm. expects to close the year with an income of $1.6 million.
