Adidas America breaks an advertising campaign in Boston today consisting of five humorous vignettes celebrating the 105th running of its famed 26.2-mile race, themed: "The Boston Marathon. It's here." One execution shows a man in his bathrobe who finds dozens of portable rest rooms in his yard when he walks out of his house. The campaign targets 15,000 runners and 500,000 spectators in Boston, where race day is an official holiday. Billboards, transit ads, and posters will be placed around the city; Leagas Delaney, San Francisco, handles. Copywriter: Ned Brown-Stearns. Art director: Chris Hobson.
