Avis Rent A Car System will spend about $25 million over the next nine months for its regional TV ad campaign breaking Sept. 2. The two spots, from Bates USA, New York, keep the longstanding "We try harder" tag. The spots will run in 16 major markets. Local print will support the TV push.
