Published on .

"Come see New York in its finest hour," is the invitation from Gov. George Pataki and Mayor Rudolph Giuliani. The two politicians put out the welcome mat for tourists in a new "I love New York" TV ad for the Empire State Development Corp. that broke on 100 stations Oct. 10. The star-studded spot, from Wolf Group, New York, features city celebrities such as actor Ben Stiller, Yankee shortstop Derek Jeter and CNBC anchor Maria Bartiromo going about their business. Art director: Ron Louie. Copywriter: Griff Crosby.
