A new $4 million print campaign for Du Pont Co.'s Lycra is designed to highlight not only freedom of movement but freedom of choice by the women wearing it. The drive from Y&R Advertising, New York, makes its debut in October magazines and includes an eight-page insert in Elle and Vogue. The tagline: "Define yourself." Outdoor advertising will appear in New York only in mid-September. The campaign will be expanded to Europe, South America and Asia in early 1998.
