Saab Cars USA breaks the TV portion of its fall branding campaign Sept. 8 with the first of two spots from its new shop, Martin Agency
, Richmond, Va. (AA, Aug. 18). No tag is used. This spot, part of Saab's $45 million push this year, shows a couple in a Saab 900 convertible at dusk literally chasing the sun. Saab's TV budget will be 60% national cable and network and 40% spot, vs. 90% national in 1996. The other commercial breaks in mid October.
