General Motors Corp.'s Saturn Corp. breaks its 2001-model year campaign Sept. 12 on cable, then makes a big splash during the Olympics on NBC. One of the spots from Publicis & Hal Riney, San Francisco, shows an LS driver, touting the car's performance, humorously trying to figure out how to turn right in front of several taxis. A brand spot (r.) shows how Saturn went the extra mile to add a side, head-curtain air bag for safety. Copywriter: Jack Harding. Art director: Greg Wells.
