Restoration Hardware launches its first branding effort this month with a series of ads showing off the lifestyle benefits of certain home furnishings. One ad featuring a floor lamp calls sunlight "so overrated." The effort, from Youngquist/Marcoccia, Sausalito, Calif., runs throughout the fall and next year in magazines such as Martha Stewart Living, The New Yorker and House & Garden.
