Subway Restaurants is substituting a smart mouth for a loud one in ads from Havas Advertising's Messner Vetere Berger McNamee Schmetterer/Euro RSCG, New York. It dumped a shadow puppet voiced by Gilbert Gottfried and is replacing it with a wiseacre named Jim. Art director: Michael Glowacki. Copywriter: Sam Higgins.
