Breaking: Tribal members

Published on .

Reminiscent of anthropologist Jean Rouch giving a camera to an African hill tribe in the 1960s, Bartle Bogle Hegarty, New York, gave video cameras to a tribe of young people who use Bolt.com, a youth culture Web destination, to make their own commercials and presumably drive viewers to the site. The campaign, which broke Aug. 3, features teens and is tagged "Don't hold back." Copywriter: Eran Thomson. Art director: Rob Baird.
