Breaking: Zip devices to the rescue

Published on .

Iomega Corp. moves to restore its prominence in the personal portable storage disks and drives category with a new, estimated $35 million TV and Internet effort being launched Oct. 18. Tagged "Zip it," the campaign is the first from Publicis & Hal Riney, San Francisco, and backs new Iomega products such as digital music and photo devices. In one spot, a knight in a castle rescuing a damsel in distress is squashed by a giant hacker, only to be instantly replicated by the Zip photo device. Copywriter: Michael Barti.
