Conde Nast Publications' GQ, New York, signed Lincoln and Sprint as co-presenting sponsors of its annual "Men of the Year'' awards. The program will air as a 2-hour special Oct. 29 on VH1. The awards show also will be Webcast in Windows Media at (www.gq.com) Oct. 22, the day of the live event. "Men of the Year'' winners will be featured in the November issue.
Careers Web site Monster.com, Maynard, Mass., said it will air two :30s, one each in the first and fourth quarters, on Super Bowl XXXIV. The spots are part of Monster.com's $60 million on- and offline campaign for 2000, handled by Mullen, Wenham, Mass.
Candie's, Purchase, N.Y., will launch a new Web site tomorrow at (www.candies.com). The site is an online community with message boards, free downloads and contests. It was developed in-house with ad agency InMarketing, Glen Cove, N.Y., and Dennis Interactive, New York.
