As part of a new single brand focus for advertising in 2000, Kellogg Co., Battle Creek, Mich., will feature model Cindy Crawford as the spokeswoman for Special K, according to a company statement. The campaign, the details of which aren't yet finalized, is being handled by Leo Burnett USA, Chicago, and will break in the first half.

Barton Brands, Chicago, to Sanchez Healy as its first Hispanic agency of record. The agency is charged with developing a Spanish-language campaign for a new, as yet undisclosed brand of spirits to be marketed exclusively to the U.S. Hispanic market.
