Remy Amerique, New York, to Ellenson Group for its $4 million Cointreau liqueur creative assignment. Remy Amerique wants to make the orange liqueur a bigger player in the U.S. and will launch a multimillion-dollar print, outdoor and radio campaign in June. Ellenson also handles creative for other Remy Amerique brands such as Remy Martin cognac.

Times Mirror Magazines, New York, reached a deal with Vulcan Ventures, the company owned by Microsoft Corp. co-founder Paul Allen, to sell The Sporting News weekly and its Web site.
