People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals pulled its college-targeted "Got beer?'' campaign, responding to complaints from Mothers Against Drunk Driving. The campaign presented research that PETA said indicated drinking beer is more healthful that drinking milk.
Pepsi-Cola Co., Purchase, N.Y., snared yet more musical performers to appear in "Joy of Cola'' advertising during ABC's March 26 Oscars broadcast. Rock group Kiss will sing the Pepsi theme song in a spot created by BBDO Worldwide, New York.
