Mark-Hans Richer, 33, to advertising manager-GMC at General Motors Corp., Detroit, from the same title at Chevrolet trucks. He succeeds Bob Kraut, 40, who held the title for both Pontiac and GMC brands, and moved in March to Pontiac Grand Prix brand manager. The Pontiac ad manager hasn't been named. Also: Linda Pesonen, 37, to Pontiac Montana brand manager from marketing director of General Motors Acceptance Corp.'s northeast region. She succeeds Jim Murray, 60, who was earlier named brand manager of Pontiac Bonneville.

Outdoor Advertising Association of America chose 109 finalists out of about 1,700 entries in its 58th annual Obie awards contest. The finalists represent creative work from 52 different agencies. Just 12 of the finalists, including the $50,000 best of show winner, will receive Obies at the June 15 award ceremony in New York. Last year, 22 Obies were awarded.
