GMO/Hill Holliday, San Francisco, laid off about 15 of its 200 employees. Agency President Nancy Hill said the agency no longer has retail-oriented clients, such as Dell Computer Corp. and Kia Motors America Corp., and some of its dot-com clients have stopped advertising. But the agency's billings remain in the $400 million range, she said.

Internet solutions provider Quidnunc, New York, to FCB Worldwide's Los Angeles and Costa Mesa, Calif., offices as first agency for an anticipated $5 million b-to-b assignment. Print and direct mail launches early next month.
