British Telecom sets interactive trial

British Telecom said it has started recruiting customers to participate in a trial of BT Interactive TV this summer. The trial will involve 2,500 consumers in Colchester and Ipswich, U.K. BT will offer video and games on demand, education, music videos, local programming and home shopping. The test will also feature Adland, a interactive advertising system featuring more than 20 marketers.
