Streaming media content site Broadcast.com named Amazon.com its exclusive merchant for books and music. Amazon.com's book and music selections will appear next to relevant audio or video programming on Broadcast.com. Amazon.com will also advertise on Broadcast.com in the form of banner ads and rich-media, audio and gateway ads that run before and during Broadcast.com's programming.
Amazon.com also nailed a deal with Hoover's Online to be the directory company's exclusive bookseller. Amazon promotional plugs will appear throughout Hoover's Online, from the home page to its company information areas and online store.
