Brookbanks to head MindShare in Chicago

MindShare North America named Kathleen Brookbanks managing director of its Chicago office. Ms. Brookbanks previously was managing partner and executive media director at Ogilvy & Mather, Chicago. The appointment marks the official opening of Mindshare's Chicago office. The office has 170 employees and will provide strategic media planning, national TV and radio implementation, local TV and radio implementation, media research, and non-traditional media to a client base that spends more than $1 billion. MindShare Chicago's clients include Sears, Roebuck & Co.; Kimberly-Clark Corp.; Unilever; Kraft Foods; Princess Cruise Lines; and the Illinois Lottery. Ms. Brookbanks has spent the past six years at Ogilvy's Chicago office. She joined Ogilvy from Young & Rubicam, New York, where she spent 14 years in media.
