WHAT'S THERE: This site does a great job reminding us of all the things Black and Decker does besides power tools. It's trim, stylish and crisp, but what it lacks is attitude. There's no Bob Vila or Al Borland rattling off statistics about Random Orbit Action (it's defined in the glossary). Sections like Bridal Center have lots of unusual information, but the repetitive design makes it hard to find what you would expect Black and Decker to serve up: power.

WHAT'S THERE: Oral-B offers a site about, of all things, oralcare. Among the useful features are a comprehensive resource guide for dentists and dental students, tips for picking a dentist and online lesson planners for teaching about oralcare. The usual product information is here as well. And there's one gimmick that's hard to miss: An animated image of chattering teeth.
