Buchanan ad on nat'l TV

Published on .

In what's apparently the first ad of this year's presidential campaign to get national airing on broadcast TV, Reform Party candidate Pat Buchanan tonight airs a spot on UPN's "WWF Smack-down!" that questions immigration policies. In the commercial from Love Advertising, Houston, a man who starts choking when a radio station reports English is no longer the U.S.' official language dies when his call to 911 goes unanswered while various language options are presented. Mr. Buchanan recently got access to the $12.6 million in federal money set aside for the Reform Party candidate.
