America Online cut three deals with online brokerages totaling $75 million over two years, AOL's largest marketing agreement to date. DLJdirect, E*Trade and Waterhouse Securities are paying to become the premier brokerages in AOL's new Brokerage and Mutual Fund Centers in the AOL Personal Finance channel. Direct access to the three brokerages will be closely integrated into AOL's newly launched Investment Research area.

Portal site Excite breaks the first consumer ads for Excite Classifieds July 16. San Francisco agency Citron Haligman Bedecarre created local radio spots that carry the tagline "Whatever you're looking for." Excite Classifieds are powered by Classifieds2000, a service Excite purchased in an April stock swap valued at $48 million. Classifieds2000 provides services to more than 100 Web sites.
Yahoo! Real Estate
hits the market
Yahoo! launched Yahoo! Real Estate (realestate.yahoo.com) June 30, which is designed to help consumers buy, sell or rent property.
The site, integrated with Yahoo! Classifieds, pulls real estate listings from commercial sites, including Apartments.com, Cyberhomes and NewHomeSearch.com. Features include a way to apply for a home mortgage online through Yahoo! Finance or compare the quality of living in different geographic areas using Virtual Relocation.

N2K inks Internet deal with Buena Vista
Buena Vista Internet Group and N2K June 29 completed an e-commerce and marketing partnership, which makes N2K's Music Boulevard (www.musicblvd.com) the online music retailer for Disney.com and ABC.com. The partnership also includes advertising and e-commerce on Buena Vista Internet Group Web sites.
In a related deal, ABC Radio Networks and N2K's Music Boulevard Network agreed to create a network of sites with N2K's e-commerce capabilities and music content for ABC's radio networks and affiliated radio stations.
IAB sets deadline for
Internet Advertising Bureau said it plans to complete by September voluntary guidelines for audience measurement on the Net.
IAB outlined the initiatives for the published document, which will be called, "IAB Online Audience Measurement Guidelines."
IAB will present a draft document in July, which will touch on three major areas: Best practices, education and research.
P&G sets summit plans
Procter & Gamble Co. has set Aug. 20-21 for its Future of Advertising Stakeholders (FAST) Summit, at its Cincinnati headquarters, to discuss the future of Internet advertising. P&G will soon launch a Web site with more information.
