Intelligent Interactions Corp. today debuts db Commerce, a new commercial Internet software package for e-commerce sites. Like its ad server software Adfinity, IIC emphasizes db Commerce's ability to incorporate companies' databases. Therefore, both db Commerce and Adfinity can target online promotions to known customers based on their offline shopping histories.
The Internet Advertising Bureau releases its finalized media measurement guidelines this week. Since preliminary guidelines were posted for comments in June, there have been only minimal clarifications, said IAB Secretary Kate Everett-Thorp, VP-crusader, advertising programs at CNET.
