Burger King U.K. serves up new fries

Published on .

LONDON--Burger King is launching a new crispier, tastier French fry that will stay hotter longer than existing fries. The new fries will go on sale in Burger King's 525 U.K. restaurants starting Jan. 25. The centerpiece of the launch campaign will be Free Fryday. On Friday, Jan. 29, a portion of fries will be given away free to all customers visiting any U.K. Burger King. No other purchase is necessary, and Burger King estimates it will give away 1 million portions of its new fries that day.
