Co., Chicago, formed Leo Burnett Field Marketing Services to handle its $200 million media buying assignment for Miller Brewing Co. The unit will be involved with local and regional media planning, as well as administrative AOR duties. With an initial staff of 30, the subsidiary will operate out of 10 cities, including Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Detroit, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, St. Louis, San Francisco and Seattle. Burnett on Feb. 17 assumes all media responsibility from former buyer Bates Worldwide, New York. Rick Remick, VP and former account director for Miller Lite, will head the new Burnett unit.
