(Aug. 28, 2001) BOMBAY -- Bcom3 Group's Leo Burnett Worldwide has won the film marketing business for four new "Bollywood's" films from three separate production houses through Leo Entertainment, a division of its Bombay office set up six months ago.

The films include Kaante ("Thorns"), Chupke Se ("Quietly"), Kuch na Kaho ("Don't Say Anything") and an as-yet-untitled film featuring Hindi film star Hrithik Roshan.

The business, worth $2 million in billings, includes advertising, Web design, promotions and merchandising solutions as well as in-film brand placements, giving special consideration to Leo Burnett's Indian client roster. Each account was won without a pitch following a credentials presentation.

Leo Entertainment General Manager Sanjay Bhutiani noted that India produces close to 600 features films each year, and the agency plans to expand into marketing of music albums, celebrity management and endorsements in the near future. -- Normandy Madden
