The new agency will also handle full-service marketing communications for client needs in Zambia and Botswana. Its founding clients include Standard Chartered Bank and local clients Enbee Clothing, Marvo Stationers and Cloth for Africa. The agency will work closely with Sonnenberg Murphy Leo Burnett in Johannesburg, the network's lead office in Africa.
Keith McKay will serve as the chairman of Von Broembsen Marson Leo Burnett, a position he formerly held at TM&A Advertising in Zimbabwe. Tim Von Broembsen, previously creative director for CM&A Advertising & Marketing, will become the new agency's managing director. David Marson, the previous creative director of Michael Hogg Young & Rubicam, will be the new agency's creative director.
