Burson-Marsteller localizes Thai operation

Published on .

BANGKOK--Burson-Marsteller Thailand says its staff has acquired the company from Burson-Marsteller of New York as part of a program to localize and adapt to the changing needs of the Thai market. The company, renamed Aziam Burson-Marsteller (ABM), retains its links with Burson-Marsteller's global operation as its Thailand affiliate. ABM is majority-owned by Managing Director Steve Vincent with several Thai staff as shareholders. The name `Aziam' is a composite word representing Asia, Siam and an A to Z range of communications services.
