New York State Attorney General Eliot Spitzer May 24 said Web site had agreed to settle charges that some of its ads last year for computers failed to disclose that the listed rebate price required buyers to sign on to three years of Internet service at a cost of more than $20 a month. agreed to an "assurance of discontinuance'' and will in the future make clear the monthly fees, Mr. Spitzer's office said. officials couldn't be reached for comment by deadline.
