C&A to sell Disney clothes in Europe

Published on .

BRUSSELS--Clothing retailer C&A and entertainment group Walt Disney Co.Europe have signed a licensing agreement dubbed Fashion For Fun that allows C&A to sell Mickey and Minnie Mouse, as well as Winnie the Pooh apparel in stores in seven European countries.

Disney corners have been set up in C&A stores in France, Belgium, Portugal, the Netherlands, Austria, Switzerland and Germany. They are designed to attract children into the stores and the launch coincides with the beginning of the school year, Disney says.

C&A will make the clothes, but patterns are designed together with Disney, according to the entertainment group.
