C/Net expands TV block

Published on .

C/Net: The Computer Network said it will increase its block of programs on USA Networks' Sci-Fi Channel to 2 hours, airing twice a week, from 30 minutes in July. "The Web," a 1-hour Internet show, and "The New Edge," a 30-minute magazine-style show about new technology, will join "C/Net Central," a 30-minute news show that returns for its second year.

C/Net, partly owned by USA Networks, will face competition from a 1-hour daily computer show produced by Ziff-Davis Publishing Co. and starting in July on MSNBC.
