formed two new business units focusing on new media: the New Media Group and the Entertainment Ventures Group. Leading the new media venture is Hassan Miah, a CAA executive who was involved in the sale of MCA to Seagram Co. and worked on the Tele-TV joint venture. James F. Griffiths was named to lead the entertainment group, where he will oversee ventures in broadcast TV, international and domestic cable and satellite TV. Mr. Griffiths also worked on the Tele-TV alliance.
CAA had acted as adviser to the alliance until the departure of Michael Ovitz for Walt Disney Co.
