Cable Breakthrough in '98

Advertising revenues on cable television should take a significant upswing in 1998. So says Kay Kop[lovitz, chairman-CEO of USA Networks, speaking during Tuesday's panel at the National Cable Television Association's annual conference in Los Angeles. In the third quarter of 1998, according to USA Netowrks' research, "total viewing of cable will be greater than broadcast, and won't go back," said Ms. Koplovitz.
