Little Caesars names stars

Published on .

Little Caesars Pizza drafted three kitschy celebrities to promote the new Stuffed Crust Pizza Combo in an estimated $10 million campaign from Cliff Freeman & Partners, New York. Appearing in the ads breaking today are Jimmie Walker, star of the '70s TV show "Good Times"; Butch Patrick, former child star of the series "The Munsters"; and motorcycle daredevil Evel Knieval. Little Caesars launched Stuffed Crust in October and is now offering Stuffed Crazy Bread with a pizza for $8.99.

Pizza Hut, meanwhile, is adding one more celebrity to its ongoing Stuffed Crust campaign: British actor Peter O'Toole in his first commercial role. The 30-second spot from BBDO breaks New Year's Day. Pizza Hut has spent nearly $100 million advertising Stuffed Crust since its launch last March.
