California Federal Bank breaks new campaign

California banking wars heat up the week of Feb. 14 with California Federal Bank, San Francisco, breaking a new TV and print campaign celebrating its customers. The work is the first from new agency Suissa Miller, Los Angeles, since it won the $25 million account last year. Competitor Washington Mutual had been using its tellers as celebrities in an ad effort aimed at featuring customer service.
