California Lottery picks five finalists in review

California Lottery named five finalists for a four-year, $135 million contract. Finalists are J. Walter Thompson USA, the incumbent, and Young & Rubicam, both San Francisco; Asher/Gould and Grey Advertising, both Los Angeles; and Rogge Effler & Partners, Santa Monica. Separately, Asher/Gould won renewal on the state's three-year, $49 million anti-smoking account.
