Calvin Not Inclined

Published on .

Three aggressively buff guys in nothing but their briefs, riding motorized scooters in the street, intercut with the lascivious ogling of female passersby, backed by a typically hip soundtrack. What appears to be another typically raunchy Calvin Klein commercial is, in fact, a sexy spec spot directed by Chris Drechsler, a New York-based lighting specialist with numerous commercials, film and TV credits - part of his ongoing effort to make the transition to commercials and music video direction. "Calvin Klein's marketing department has my reel, but they've never officially commented on the spot," says Drechsler, who completed the project for under $20,000. See Drexfilms.com for more info.
