Calvin Klein offers pinup posters in mags

Calvin Klein Inc. is spending $500,000 of its $7 million fall jeans ad budget on pinup size posters tucked inside the front covers of the September issue of Spin and October issue of YM. The company has done poster inserts before, but never upfront. In-house agency CRK Advertising has also put together a 16-page, free-standing color insert for CK Calvin Klein apparel and accessories bowing Sept. 7 in Sunday newspapers in five major markets.
