Calvin Klein Inc. is spending $500,000 of its $7 million fall jeans ad budget on pinup size posters tucked inside the front covers of the September issue of Spin
and October issue of YM
. The company has done poster inserts before, but never upfront. In-house
agency CRK Advertising has also put together a 16-page, free-standing color insert for CK Calvin Klein apparel and accessories bowing Sept. 7 in Sunday newspapers in five major markets.
