Spain's Iberia Airlines reintroduces its brand in U.S. markets in a newspaper campaign via BBDO
South, Atlanta, breaking June 22. Initial ads announce Iberia's code-sharing agreement with American Airlines on its New York-to-Madrid and Miami-to-Madrid routes. A second wave, breaking Aug. 31, announces Chicago-to-Madrid service with connecting service from other U.S. cities. Theme is "the best kept secret of European travel." Spending was not disclosed.
