Campaign pushes pager use

The Personal Communications Industry Association tomorrow kicks off a TV and radio campaign via Bozell/Eskew, New York, and eight leading paging companies to boost pager use. Two 30-second TV spots and two 60-second radio ads break in Fresno, Calif., and Jacksonville, Fla.; budget is $1.2 million through Feb. 7, after which a national rollout is planned. The tagline: "Today's pagers. Get the message.''
