The campaign, breaking nationally on TV, radio and newspapers Thursday, is aimed at upscale and up-and-coming drivers under 45. TV commercials poke fun at modern technology and urge drivers to break free.
Visa is launching a $5 million-plus national campaign featuring Elton John on all major networks and cable affiliates. The performer will appear in 30- and 60-second TV spots for Visa Gold created by BBDO, New York. The commercial shows Mr. John using his gold card to pay for hotel rooms for his tour entourage.
Domecq Importers is launching a new $5 million campaign for its premium tequila, Sauza Conmemorativo. The humorous ads, created by Cliff Freeman & Partners, New York, feature the theme "Life is harsh ... your tequila shouldn't be."
