Campbell acquires soup brand

Campbell Soup Co. purchased Liebig soups in France from Danone SA for $170 million. Campbell said sales are estimated at $75 million in France, the fourth-largest commercial soup market outside the U.S. BBDO, Paris, is currently the agency for Liebig soup, and is also a core agency on Campbell's roster.
