Campbell Soup Co. awarded Young & Rubicam a $20 million chunk of business in an agency realignment announced Thursday. In the shift, Y&R wins about $20 million in U.S. business for Chunky and Home Cookin' soups as well as the estimated $25 million Erasco Soup business acquired a few months ago in Germany. Chunky was formerly with BBDO Worldwide, New York; Home Cooking was with FCB/Leber Katz Partners, New York, which gets the $15 million Pace sauce business from the ousted Temerlin McClain, Dallas. Bates Worldwide wins the Delacre international cookie business in Europe, while Saatchi & Saatchi, New York, keeps its Pepperidge Farm account but wins no new Campbell business. A spokesman attribute the shift to a "global realignment."
