Leading Cannes prognosticator Donald Gunn is predicting a U.S. commercial will take the top honor at the International Advertising Festival next week. And the winner will be: DDB Needham Worldwide, New York. Mr. Gunn, senior VP-creative resources at Leo Burnett USA, Chicago, viewed 4,000 commercials before singling out DDB Needham's "Toll Booth" spot for the New York State Lottery. Mr. Gunn noted the U.S. hasn't won the Grand Prix since 1986. But keep in mind he has picked only two of the past five winners.
