Cannes picks Media Lions

The U.K. was the big winner in media in Cannes, with Saatchi & Saatchi, London, taking home the Grand Prix in the newspaper category for "Scramble" for the Multiple Sclerosis Society.

Also in the newspaper category, Optimum Media Direction Hungary, Budapest, won a Media Lion for "Your Voice" for Vodafone.

The two Media Lion winners for best use of TV are: Bester Burke D'Arcy, Cape Town, for "Ally McBeal" for Associated Magazine's Cosmopolitan and Wieden & Kennedy, Portland, Ore., for "Live TV" for Nike's Cross-Training Latin America.

The Media Lion winner in the best use of cinema category is Saatchi & Saatchi New Zealand, Auckland, for "Evecons Exhibition Cinema Campaign" for Wellington City Gallery.
