The 1994 John Caples International Awards competition, named after the legendary direct mail pioneer who spent 56 years at BBDO Worldwide, honors copywriters, designers and broadcast directors whose creative solutions to direct response marketing problems are judged to be the best in the world.
Work produced between Aug. 1, 1993, and July 31, 1994, is eligible, said Deborah Newkerk, president of Saatchi & Saatchi Direct and general chair of the awards.
Twenty-one media categories have been included in contest entry forms sent to agencies and free-lance and in-house creatives in 30 countries.
