Capstar reaches agreement with Dept. of Justice

Capstar Broadcasting Corp., Austin, Texas, and the Department of Justice reached a settlement March 8 in which Capstar agreed to sell five radio stations in Wichita, Kansas, as a condition of moving forward on its agreement to acquire Triathlon Broadcasting Co. Capstar will sell the Wichita stations--KEYN-FM, KWSJ-FM, KNSS-AM, KFH-AM and KQAM-AM - to Westport, Conn.-based Connoisseur Communications Partners. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
